Elizabeth Wilbraham's own house was close to where Harrods stands in Knightsbridge, but it was demolished about 1900 with no public supply of illustrations before it disappeared. However, a London architect had liked it so much that he built an almost identical copy of it (he needed maybe 10 additional feet to create a completely accurate replica). In 1904, Cowley House at No. 4 Cowley Street was built and still stands. It is very close to the Houses of Parliament and well worth a visit.
